More than 8,800  young hockey players participated in Spirit of 2010 Hockey Tournaments.

The Mission Spirit of BC Committee hosted events to celebrate the annual Spirit of BC Week.

Ecole Mission Central received $3,250 from Innovations to partner with the Mission Arts Council and Siwal Si'wes Aboriginal Education on an Aboriginal Artwork Project.

Close to 400 students attended Explorations summer camps in the Mission School District.

Mission received $20,000 from Measuring Up to improve accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities.

The Mission literacy task group received $100,000 from Literacy Now Communities to improve literacy in the area.

Sto:lo Heritage Trust Society received $50,000 from Arts Partners in Creative Development to commission carver Tom Patterson to create a Sto:lo-inspired red cedar house post for the Xa:ytem Longhouse Interpretive Centre.

Nineteen schools registered with Action Schools! BC to improve physical activity and healthy eating in students.

Over 150 tourism businesses in the Fraser Valley received accessibility ratings from the Accessible Tourism program.

Over 37,000 youth in 70 communities across BC developed  physical and motor  skills with Gymnastics BC's Kids Can Move Program, funded by the BC Sport Participation Program in 2004-2007.

Over 500 youth in 18 communities across BC were introduced to ice hockey with BC Hockey's Lace 'Em Up Program, funded by the BC Sport Participation Program in 2004-2007.

Over 2,900 youth in 17 communities across BC discovered new sports  with PacificSport BC's XploreSportz program, funded by the BC Sport Participation Program in 2004-2007.

Over 4,300 children and instructors in 15 communities participated in BC Hockey's Hockey in Our Schools, a skill development program for elementary schools, thanks to $12,000 from the BC Sport Participation Program in 2007-2010.
