2010 Legacies Now is the first organization of its kind. We were created in 2000 to build support for Vancouver's bid for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and ensure a stronger sport system in BC. We are now dedicated to developing community legacies leading up, during and beyond 2010.

As a not-for-profit organization, 2010 Legacies Now aims to strengthen not just sport and recreation, but also arts, literacy, healthy living, accessibility and volunteerism, using an inclusive approach. We are finding innovative ways to work with over 4,000 organizations and groups across the province in our quest to see all BC communities discovering and creating lasting legacies leading up to 2010 and beyond.
