Tourism businesses in Kamloops are getting involved in the accessible tourism movement.


The Accessible Tourism program aims to make BC a premier travel destination for people with disabilities through accessibility ratings, staff training and other projects. The program was established in 2007 with funding from the Province of British Columbia. The founding partners include 2010 Legacies Now, Tourism BC, Tourism Vancouver, Tourism Richmond, Tourism Whistler and the BC Hotel Association.
