Story
Twenty-five children, ranging in age from four to 13, took part in a ten-day, summer drama camp in 2006, thanks to $5,000 from Explorations. The program, run by Bridge Lake Elementary School, offered a fine arts activity focusing on the 'whole child' nurturing skills in memory, diction, voice projection, song delivery, and the ability to follow cues. Students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to take part in a drama program were able to work with a qualified instructor to learn singing, dancing, painting and building sets, and more. Communities served included the rural area of Bridge Lake and surrounding areas.
